Landmark Mortgage Servicing (LMS) is a mortgage note servicing company that banks and portfolio owners of performing notes (PN) and non-performing notes (NPN) utilize for the servicing of their assets to increase the profitability of their business.
LMS is also the mortgage servicing component behind the Landmark Insiders American Dream Project. Investors are taught how this program works so they can decide whether or not to perform certain components themselves. For instance if they choose to sell a property themselves and create a seller-financed note, LMS is requisitioned to calculate principal and interest, collect payments from the mortgagor, maintain accurate records of payments and balances, pay the mortgagor’s taxes and insurance, act as an escrow agent, and foreclose in the event of a default.
